Reputation: 539 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 19 | this setup is currently used by Chris_X i think. switch + 900EB2. but if i'm not mistaken, unlike using a Router, 1 PC on the switch has to initiate the connection. and if the PC with the connection goes off, all connections go off as well. peaz did mention that we can used WinXP to auto-dial. but i donno, if my WinXP dial that means my PC has to be ON to keep the connection, right? currently on the router as our linksys, it will auto-dial on demand. the person who triggered the dial can go off without disrupting the connection. |
