well, being a tweaker by nature... i'd tried all the tweaks i can find...

but experience speaks better... no matter what u do... it's just stays the same.. so why even bother?

i've change the MTU, Blackhole, timngs... whatever else.... seriously... it's just the same..

and there's no way we can get static IP to streamyx unless u get the more expensive package...

but usually promo from various companies do this. i donno if it's telekom's plan or reseller plan.

Hehe... If you want a sure tip about how to improve download speed = don't upload!

A large upload can cause your download speed to degrade. It's a problem with TCP/IP and not ADSL itself...

connect to the internet in less than 1sec.
fast and simple.
just like executing our notepad program

well raspppoe is the best dsl connector/dialer there is.. but the thing is.. why bother????

after giving me so many excuses, no port lar, distance too far lar..blablabla..
I still won. must show them your anger or else they won't scare one.
after waiting for 3 weeks and 0 reply, I went to telekom 2 days ago and I told them I don't give a damn liao..come my house and test first!!!!!!!

they kuai kuai came this afternoon.
and then they wanted to use my house phone to make phone call to their exchange site. I said NO (because they spent 15-20min on my house phone with the exchange technicians just to activate my previous account when I was in section17 that time. took 15-20mins to activate an account. how stupid!!). I'm not going to pay for their stupidity again. so they kuai kuai took out their H/P

lucky this so-called technician is a little bit smarter than the previous one. at least he knows how to setup the whole thing.
the result? ahhh..the technicion told me "OPPPSSSS...ur line is okay(with his stupid surprised face). We will come again in 1 week time to activate your account"

sometimes u must use some "force" u know..

now someone please recommend me a good modem...pleaseeeeeeeeeeee
