There's no problem with the modem. Like he said before, it works when directly connected to the modem. It's configuration problem with the router.

Yup, probably because he did not set it to bridge mode before connecting it to the router. That's why the modem is still accessible.

do a hard reset on the modem then it will return to bridge mode

dear dr wong, i already done the bridge mode still cannot access the internet but i just realize that the internet lit at the WRT54G router did not lit up. Look like the port is die

P/S Lacus, i'm not from Klang, i'm a different guy who reacitvate this thread again since i got a similar problem.

Default Aztech DSL605EW problems

AOA

Hi!

i have a serious prblm. My router DSL605EW

was going good bt i dont knw what i thougt suddenly i thought to update its

firmware.

so i tried to update it. i go in the router settings and i updated it

wd this firmware "single.annexA.upgrade.img"

after rebooting the router stucks then i turn off the router and start

it again !

bt nothing happen it remained stuck. now plzz give me the solution of

it.

i have tried to reset it many times bt nothing happened !

is my router damaged now

or

any solution is possible here?

plzzzzz help !

You may have to refer to this:
Tech ARP - Aztech Modem Bad Flash Recovery Guide Rev. 2.0

It is old, but I believe it should apply to your modem.
Just need to get a different firmware.
