It's on purpose. I guess the only way around it is the encrypt the Bittorrent transfer protocol, but that limits you to only clients that support it.

Oh well, we can all vote against TMNet's traffic shaping by downgrading our Streamyx speeds to 512kbps. Heck, after all this traffic shaping, I'm barely using 384kbps!

Let's all go offline. Cancel all our streamyx accounts, and even cut the stupid telephone line! Cancel your 019/013 numbers, and organise a mass SIM card burning event.

This will be a desperate measure to slapwake TM for traffic shaping.
