well..there is a way around streamyx throttling..check out http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/437468 for more details

This does not solve the problem stated in my thread title. I'm using eMule FYI.

Yes, using HTTP Tunnel or equivalent is the only solution I can find so far.

Actually tmnut doesn't block eMule. In fact, I'm running eMule without HTTPTunnel now without any problems.

That's just a paid service that makes use of a foreign server to download. Totally defeats the purpose and meaning of P2P.

What I know is they throttle bandwidth at certain times of the day to allow non-P2P bandwidth to be higher.
