Bro. Need more information to diagnose your problem

What router? On streamyx? any particular settings you set on the router? or is it on the default factory settings?

UPnP activated, both Windows and router?
If not, do so.

I think it got to do with the port u open, because i am sharing the streamyx with my housemate, They can use their IP to log in YM/MSN ,torrent, while i am not.

Is there any other program to check my ip got wat port open?

You have to do that on the router.

Use a different port from your housemate. Open it in your router and assign it to your PC's IP.

UPnP is essential to get things working easily on a gateway-shared internet access. Otherwise, major major headache.

Nah, not really.
There's no way to access this devices from the outside
(internet), only if you share "your" UPnPs on a, for
example, campus-network or over a WLAN-hotspot with
free access to everyone, you should shield them with a

I see. I thought I read somewhere that enabling UPnP is convenient but will reduce the security of the network.
