Same thing happened to me last week. My connection is dead last Monday, after 10 am and the DSL light is still there. shocking. Then, called the customer support for a few times, and even 6 times isn't sufficient. And then it's out for a few days, and the thing restored on Friday evening.

Then later they said something is dead in the exchange (the rocket thingy nearby houses). Fortunately they rectified it immediately.

Just now evening I received a call, and checked on my connection. I said it's fine and nice already and thanked them for the quick response.

Hope you get your connection restored too! Be patient, and keep reminding the workers!

Remember, you can e-mail them for a rebate. It's not much and it doesn't make up for the loss of productivity, but it's the least you can get back from them for their piss-poor service.

Even though I have never been to Malaysia and am not familiar with the service provider seems like solid advise to me. Hey they have more money than you do and might as well get something back

No worries about the language. I don't think they write very good English anyway.

Basically just tell them you want a rebate for the downtime from [date1, time1] to [date2, time2].
