Best usenet Provider?

i been using my friends newshosting account.. but it has expired.. its the only way you can get good DL speeds cos torrents are throttled to hell ...
so im setting up my own account.. who do you think is the best provider.. right now im between giganews,nntp, and newshosting.com..

any one know a good provider?

Sorry, I usually just use the free news servers.

Regarding throttling, have you tried encrypting the BT traffic yet?

i tried BT encryption..
and it doesnt help
i mean i get 200-300 k speeds when i leave it on for a long time.. but i dont have time on the pc to let it speed up. i want instant speed. with news services it uses your full Bandwidth immediately.. no waiting time.. thats why i like it

You usually get an newsserver account with your ISP, but it's pretty slow though.

It's been a while since I've used any news servers.. but yeah, your ISP should have one that's available for your use.

In addition, you can search online for lists of free public news servers. Here's an example I found - Free News Servers
