Really??? I'm not sure about the laws here but I don't think there's anything against sharing an open network. I don't do it all that often though.

I'm not so much worried about the loss of bandwidth. I don't use all that much bandwidth. I'm more worried about people hacking into my local network, than using some of my bandwidth.
