Nope, I don't think even half can be flashed with custom.

It depends on the model. Some modems from other companies can also be flashed with custom firmware.

The Asus WL-520GU is one of them

It's becoming quite popular here in Canada I believe because of that. It can even as a wireless repeater with the custom firmware!

my opinion is never get netgear loh. man i tried some netgear router always hang or got problem one, flash the firmware also no used. always kanasai by customers
