Reputation: 3879   Rep Power: 71 |  Missing Avatar Due to repeated abuse of the limitation of phpBB by off-linking oversized avatars from other locations, I have decided to disable the linking of avatars from outside the ARP forums. I've tried to implement the image size check before allowing you to use the avatar, but somehow it doesn't work all the time. So I have disabled remote avatar feature. If you want to use your avatar, upload to the server instead. I will increase the filesize limit to 20Kb. Please note that the restriction on avatar size is not to save bandwidth, it is to avoid sizing issues with the forums. So, please restrict your avatars to 140 x 140 pixels or smaller. The file size limit is imposed to reduce the forum load time especially for dialup users. Sorry for troubling for those who are affected. Please PM me if you have any personal request or questions. |
