Penang is a good choice, arguably the prettiest Malaysian girls resides there. not sure about apartment rentals, but a lot of hotels around town in KL. again, pre-book to avoid problems.

Well, Adrian, our Boss can explain more. Well, can't help you with Thailand though. But if it's me, I would definitely travel by plane and it's safer and more comfortable too. Errr... from what I saw in Amazing Race where they travel in Thailand by train, I wouldn't recommend it. Bus is still ok, but be prepared for a very very long ride. One most important thing, not to scare you or anything but be extra careful when you hang around bus stations, or crowded places, hang on tight to your wallet and backpack or anything that you don't want to lose. Take care and welcome to the forum!

The Star and Crown casinos in Australia has a better atmosphere compared with the genting casino so your best bet is to maximize your holiday at better destinations in Malaysia, such as Melaka and Penang. Cameron highlands would be a nice place to relax so unless you have ample time and no better places to go, a day or two away from the main cities would be nice.

Calling all ARP-ians working around KL!!! LOL maybe just meet up for lunch. Would be cool. Anyways... The Petronas twins is definately something to check out. BTW, you can actually visit the skybridge (level 42) but to get the tickets, you will need to line up at the counter very early!.. maybe about 8.30am! Cos by 9, there will be a whole line of people taking those tickets for the rest of the day! Anyways.. here's a website you can check out what's to visit in Malaysia! http://www.virtualmalaysia.com/ |

If you're going be in KL (Kuala Lumpur, the capitol), a better idea might be to take you and friends out at night for a Malaysia ritual known as mamak. These are stalls that open all through the nite, serving some of the best street food the country has to offer. The availability, along with the fact that it's economical, makes it a very popular choice for hanging out. |
