One of the inheritors of the South Korea's Samsung Group, Lee yoon-hyung, has committed suicide, according to a statement made by an official on Monday.
She was 26 years old and was attending graduate
school in New York.

Last week the newspapers, wrote on the first page that the youngest daughter of Lee Kun-hee, the Chairman of Samsug Group died in a traffic accident. But after that, on Monday, the papers indicated the fact that Lee hanged herself using an electrical cord in her apartment in New York.

The officials from Samsung have also confirmed the investigation's report. The spokesman from Samsung said: “at the time the story initially broke, we had an insufficient amount of information”. In an act of keeping respect for the family, the company's reports have not been modified and so the cause of death remained the initial one. He continued: “it was a tragic incident and the family was already suffering from it”.

The tycoon's daughter was interested in the same passions as her father, like fast cars, and was trying to broaden her knowledge of art so that she could run the cultural foundation of Samsung.

As a possible cause in her death, some newspaper said the young woman was suffering from depression.

Her part of shares in the company affiliates summed up to 171.9 million dollars.
why does this sound so fishy to me..

Hmmm..Money sure does not make u insta-happy... but being able to fund your study, have no money problems whatsoever... I dunno - i think i wouldn't mind living large :-/..

Could be me - but i still (like everyone else) need to work hard (well.. ) to be able to feed myself
