Angry Got an MPPJ Ticket, should I pay?

Got an MPPJ ticket for not putting coupon. I think is a bit ridiculous that MPPJ fine 100 bucks for not putting a 60 cents coupon. I though SE is new government, why do they still have this idiotic fine. Back in Kuching, you only get fine 5 bucks for not putting ticket.

I am a bit tick off not because of the fine but the amount that they fine .. seesh .. should I pay or just put it somewhere where I don't see the ticket.

i paid mine. u can actually go there and nego, rm100 can go down to rm30 or 20 or so. the trick is, next time just leave an expired ticket on the dashboard if you don't intend to pay parking, with that, i think the summon should be rm30 for putting wrong ticket.

anyway, till now i have not heard of any consequences of not paying summon. a friend of mine, who accumulated like 30 summons altogether, and someone did something for her in mbpj, and it is settled without having to pay a single cent.

oh well...

Huh? It has been at RM100 for a long time. It is the maximum fine from MBPJ. Usually due to illegal parking, or no parking ticket shown. Usually you can get it down to RM50 or RM30, can't remember the exact amount.

Frankly speaking, MBPJ cannot do anything if you refuse to pay your fine. They have no legal means to get your license revoked or anything. So you can choose to ignore them. LOL!

I have many letters from MBPJ asking me to pay several RM 30 fines but I refused because I only got them for failing to renew after every 3 hours.

Most of the time, I only missed the time by 10-15 minutes but do they care? No... So why should I? It's not like I didn't pay for my parking lot.

Well i don't think they can do anything though..Unless they provide your informations to the JPJ when you need to renew the roadtax. They will then ask to settle it before renewing it..Dunno if it's true or not =/ Well, kinda weird though..Cause near by my college, there is always 1 white 350Z driven by a hot chick. She just part it right in front of the college (or rather side) but then the MPK will never put a fine there..I wonder why o_O

Err... Trust me. I've renewed my roadtax for years without any hassle from MBPJ.

As for your hot chick... she's probably related to some UMNOputra or one of their crony-parties, probably through her father.
