LOL!!! Well, I guess that depends on how fast you chug your Coca Cola after putting Mentos into your mouth.

If you coat it with saliva, I believe that would destroy the porous surface of the Mentos sweet and prevent CO2 bubbles from forming on it.

I guess if you just drop it onto your tongue and quickly pour in Coke, you will get a massive reaction. But I seriously doubt you will explode. At the very most, you will create a massive amount of foam in your mouth!
