Help RIVA3D Save The Presidents College School Of Law!

Ross Voorhees, webmaster of RIVA3D is trying to raise funds to keep his college afloat. Here's the pitch :-

"As some of you know, I've been attending law school for the last couple of years, but our school is closing due to lack of funding. I am part of a group of students who wish to save the school, and so we are striking out on our own fundraising adventure. We believe that if we take what we can raise to the board of directors, they will find a way to come up with the rest of the money necessary to see the school through the ABA accreditation process, which will then put the school in a position to be self supportive."

Ross has created a site @ http://sos.riva3d.com/ where he explains what's going on and how you can help save his school. Now, they only have TWO MONTHS to raise at least USD 1 MILLION. So, if you want to help out, hustle up and head over there!

Yeah... it looks like a really long shot but I wish him all the best. You never know. Bill Gates may come across the appeal and donate that million.

To be honest, should you even be seeking approval from other people to bring Riva3D back up again?

If that's what you want to do - then that's what you should do. Why bother about what other people think?

You're right, we were getting over 500,000 hits a month a few years ago, than before it shut down, we were only getting less than 50 hits a month.........we just needed a little more interests from people to maintain the site. Ross decided to shut down because the forums and the site were just plain dead.

Well, I really can't advise you on that since I'm not entirely sure what attracts people to certain sites.

IMHO, regularly-updated content would be a good way to attract people to Riva3D again. But asking people if they would be willing to come if you resurrect Riva3D, honestly, won't work.

But if Riva3D is your passion, I think you should do it anyway, even if you just get 1 hit a month. I know I would do the same for ARP. It's my passion.
