The main reason why I don't like tyre war is because of speed increase. Yes, it's nice to see fast lap times, braking within 100m. But it also increases danger due to faster cornering speed, reduces overtaking because of very short braking distance. Having better tyres do not inprove the spectacle. That's what I think.

Well, F1 has been running with single tyre manufacturer during a few seasons, like 1996 with Goodyear (I think), and 1999-2000 with Bridgestone.

in fact i think a single tyre supplier is what they'r aiming for in 2005 is it not?

Not sure what are the changes for 2005, since they are not finalised, 15th October is the date?

don't know the date myself. hope they dont screw up the sport... its getting ridiculous what they've been doing to it over the years.

first for safety and then later to stop Ferrari from winning everything. what rubbish!

Good things always come to an end. I really don't care if it's out of the calender. I don't really like that track anyway, except for Maggots - Becketts!

Hehe, tradition.... Is it really overrated in F1? I think two races should be scrapped = Hungary and the European GP. The European GP should be moved to London, and Hungary should be replaced with Silverstone.

Tradition? Not really, because not all British GP was held at Silverstone...so...

I think they should bring back the old Imola, or just scrap that track. Very technical track, but not very good for spectators...
