Default Gigabyte P35 motherboards

DD3's take over is gonna happen, hopefully not to soon, so I was looking at the new P35 motherboards, mainly gigabytes. only one board is a hybrid board though, and it doesnt support crossfire yet all the rest do.
Surely they would make the most money selling boards with hybrid memory support and next-gen GFX support. right?

oh another question, does the 680i chipset support 45nm cpus?

Thread title caught my eye and not interested in DDR3 ATM either with DDR2 being so cheap.

Was thinking of this one I will be using crossfire ...
Canada Computers - Motherboards > Socket LGA775/T : Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 Socket 775 Intel P35 + ICH9R Dual-Channel DDR2 1066/800/667Mhz 8x Serial ATAII IEEE1394 GigaLAN 8-Channel Audio Support 1333Mhz FSB.

Yeah, DDR2 is crazy cheap. I will wait a year for DDR3.

Me too. I wouldn't really bother with DDR3... not until 2009.

And not for cheap junk RAM either ZuePhok thats why I am thinking of buying what I can for an upgrade right now. This is not econo RAM.

Canada Computers - Memory > Desktop Memory > DDR2 800 PC2-6400+ : OCZ (OCZ2VU8004GK) DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz Vista Upgrade Edition 4GB (2x2048MB) Dual Channel Kit.

Still deciding exactly what RAM and I will hold off on the Quad for now but that board will run 45nm CPU's when the time comes.

These have dropped right down in price and really O/C well with extremely low power consumption ... around 50W at idle ... so thats under 500 bucks for me to upgrade for now.

Canada Computers - CPU > Desktop Intel Processors : Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 Socket LGA775, 2.0 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, 65nm (Retail Box) (BX80557E2180).
