Seagate Unleashes 750GB Desktop PC Hard Drive!

The new data orientation also increases drive throughput without increasing spin speed by allowing more data bits to pass under the drive head in the same amount of time.

How I wish I have more choices when comes to high performance drive... Most are only interested in capacities these days...

Not at all. I've yet to own a 10000rpm hard drive. Would be nice to see that puppy perform, then upgrade to 15000rpm. And allow me to not forget the cache.

i heard that the yield of this 750Gb drive is real BAD..
approx. 8/10 failed due of data corruption...
