You mean Robert Jordan? Yeah, plus he has a real big problem - primary amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy. They gave him until 2010 or so. But he says he intends to beat it. I'm praying REALLY hard for him!!!

He's sticking with 12 volumes max, so even if the final one is like 1500 pages, it will be the LAST book.
