Default Super Talent DDR3-1600 CL7 Captures Top Spot on AnandTech

Quote:
San Jose, California - July 23, 2007 -- Super Talent Technology, a leading manufacturer of DRAM memory modules and flash storage solutions, has captured the #1 position in AnandTech.com's endless quest for the world's fastest memory.

Super Talent's W1600UX2G7, the world's first 1600MHz DDR3 Kit in production, reached as high as 2008MHz in AnandTech's testing labs. According to AnandTech Senior Editor Wesley Fink, "The best modules in this roundup are from Super Talent. ...the Super Talent memory wins all the benchmarks at every speed from 1333 up."

W1600UX2G7 is a DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 2GB Kit (2x 1GB) that supports very aggressive 7-7-7-18 latencies. The Kit, equipped with black cast aluminum heatsinks, is hand tested as a matched pair at rated specs in an Asus P5K3 Deluxe motherboard prior to packaging and shipping. Joe James, Marketing Director at Super Talent Technology commented, "It's a supreme honor to be the top dog in AnandTech's competitive memory rankings. Being first to market with high speed DDR3 kits shows how serious Super Talent is about extreme performance."

The W1600UX2G7 is designed, built and tested in Super Talent's San Jose, California headquarters, and is available on NewEgg today for $579.

yeah right. then again AT has always been able to hit speeds that none of the retail sample can ever reach. guess the senior editor must be very "talented"
