I have 9x multi, I don't need to use high FSB. Clockspeed is far more important anyway.

Started using Vista on this new notebook. So far so good. Vista Ultimate x32 with 2GB RAM. Luckily it's not 1GB.

But I still like XP, not for the speed but for the routine stuffs. XP places everything in easy to find places. Vista hides many stuffs... more user friendly? Yeah right...

Yeah, I still don't like Vista after using it for a few months.

Ya I remember on the RAM now man from the Bragging Rights thread but lose track of everyone's machine upgrades lol

I show 2.7G free running apps on the same version of Vista you used so something is out of place. Is your RAM being recognized as dual channel and is HPET mode set to 64 bit in your BIOS for Ultimate X64?

What are you running for a music player? I use Office2007 Word, Powerpoint and Excel all the time working on reviews while playing mp3's on both JetAudio and even WMP11? No stutter
