Make it “DUAL”!

To enhance more benefits for end-users, Gainward HD 4870 Golden Sample designed with dual BIOS and dual fan technology. GAINWARD dual BIOS technology is a hardware overclocking switch that allows users to run the Gainward HD 4870 Golden Sample at default frequencies with Core/Memory 750/3600MHz when switch is on “Normal” position or run it at overclocked frequencies Core/Memory 775/4000MHz when switch is on “Turbo” position. It brings up to 8% gaming speed improvement without any difficult for entry level users.

Besides a better tri-heat-pipe design, GAINWARD also improved the thermal design with dual fan solution. We use bigger fan above GPU core and another fan above PWM circuits, the dual fan design brings lower temperature and lower fan noise, also could backup each other to prevent fan issue.

Smart Utility - EXPERTool™

Gainward’s unique EXPERTool™ is a smart and easy control software which allows users to monitor GPU’s frequency, temperature and fan speed. The fan speed and GPU/Shader/memory clock are also adjustable in the EXPERTool™. The native alert tool is the best doorkeeper when the GPU’s temperature is over the warning value, it automatically inform users to clock down the settings or turn off your PC to prevent from damaging the card.
