Lines and text are printed with less jagged edges, while Canon S-Toner uses spherical wax-core toner particles to improve color consistency and quality. With Canon Advanced Printing Technology (CAPT 3.0) and High-Smart Compression Architecture, the imageCLASS LBP7018C is able to compress huge print jobs before sending to print, allowing the same level of performance seen in competitor host-based printers, without the need to install additional printer memory. The printer produces A4 color documents at 4 pages per minute (ppm), and is four times faster when printing in black and white - delivering printouts at 16 ppm. It also has a prompt warm-up time of 66 seconds or less, resulting in higher productivity in work environments that do not require the printer to be kept on constantly. Low energy usage The energy-efficient imageCLASS LBP7018C consumes just 1.1W power in sleep mode, and a mere 7W in ready mode while waiting for a next print job. With On-Demand Fixing technology, the printer features recovery time of just 10 seconds, ready for the next print job. With a first printout taking just 13.6 seconds for a monochrome document, the imageCLASS LBP7018C excels in energy savings and speedy printing. Easy maintenance Keeping the imageCLASS LBP7018C running smoothly is an intelligent toner replacement system. Aside from a Printer Status Window that alerts users when any of the four toner cartridges is due for replacement, one of four LED lights will also light up, with the depleted cartridge automatically rotated to the top for convenient removal and replacement.
