Samsung Malaysia Electronics is offering 30 days of free access to one (1) complete season of any available TV drama when a consumer purchases a Samsung Smart TV ‘H’ Series at any Samsung authorised retailer. This redemption offer is valid from 18th September 2014 to 1st November 2014. “Samsung strives to offer a variety of content that can be easily accessed by Smart TV users and enjoy entertainment at their own convenience. With that, we are excited to introduce Samsung Seasons app to our Smart TV consumers. With Samsung Seasons, consumers are able to exclusively enjoy special selected TV dramas at the comfort of their homes” said Lee Dong Yong, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics. TV drama fans will be able to choose from a vast selection that differs from the usual run-of-the-mill. Currently the following titles are available in Malaysia: Orphan Black, Misfits, A Young Doctor’s Notebook, Underbelly: Squizzy, Call the Midwife, Bedlam and Doll & Em. New titles will be added periodically and all content readily available in Full-HD quality. Every title’s first episode may be viewed for free, giving consumers the opportunity to watch and decide if they enjoy it before renting the entire season. Consumers may watch the entire season at an affordable rate of USD6.50 (approximately RM21) for 30 days. Samsung Seasons is available for free download at the Samsung Apps Store for Smart TV users and Google Play Store for Samsung mobile device users. What’s more? Consumers can also watch TV dramas by renting an entire season on their TV and share the access with selected Samsung mobile devices. This is a good way to share and enjoy content with family and friends. Rented TV drama titles may be shared and enjoyed on up to five (5) Samsung devices.
