If you recently installed the updates issued by Microsoft on the 10th of December 2014, you need to install the KB3024777 CRITICAL UPDATE if you are using Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Here is Microsoft's announcement on the issue : If you already updated your Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 system before this announcement, you will need to install the KB3024777 update ASAP. If you didn't update yet, don't worry. We just checked with another Windows 7 SP1 system over here and can confirm that they removed KB3004394 from the list of updates. So if you are going to update your Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 installation today, just update as normal.
