Koh Boon Hwee Joins Razer Board Of Directors

    SINGAPORE – Razer™, a leader in connected devices and software for gamers announced that Mr. Koh Boon Hwee has joined its board of directors.

    Mr. Koh, a well-known angel investor, previously served as the chairman of Singapore Airlines Limited, Singapore Telecom Group (SingTel) and the DBS Bank Singapore. From January 1997 to September 2010, he served on the executive committee of Temasek Holdings.

    Mr. Koh is currently the non-executive chairman of AAC Technologies Holdings Inc., a publicly listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with a market capitalization in excess of US$8 billion. He is also the non-executive chairman of Sunningdale Tech Ltd, Yeo Hiap Seng Limited and Far East Orchard Limited, which are traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange. In addition, Mr. Koh currently serves on the board of publicly listed Agilent Technologies, Inc. in the United States.

    In addition to his other roles, Mr. Koh is the chairman of the board of trustees of Nanyang Technological University and is a director of the U.S.-based Hewlett Foundation.

    A distinguished corporate leader and entrepreneur, Mr. Koh was named as the Outstanding Manager of the Year in 1991 by Business Times and DHL Worldwide, and he was conferred an International Herald Tribune Visionary and Leader honor in January 2003.

    Mr. Koh received his Bachelor’s Degree (first-class honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, and his MBA (with distinction) from Harvard Business School. He joins recent Razer Board of Directors appointees Gideon Yu and Michael Pfeiffer.
