maybe that camcorder uses usb port to transfer?

That camcorder is using USB port...but the windows XP didnt recognize for the camcorder since we have not driver installed for it.. So, now is problem to searching out the driver.
About using firewire to transfer the video, i hvnt try yet. cos i didnt got firewire....
i really cant request the driver from JVC customer support, i will try to use firewire...
Anyway, is it onli got 1 type of Firewire support for the camcorder?? or there are many type of firewires in market?
Which type are using for GR-DX37??

nope.. only one type of firewire ..

aslong as you got the right cables you should be able to use firewire

note that most camcorders are using 4pin firewire while
PCs can have 4pin or 6pin firewire.. laptops (not all) have 4pin firewire

I also need the driver having recently moved to Singapore & bought a new PC, i find i did not bring my CD with me!!!!!
