i recommend asking your friend luqman to help clock it back as he is more than certified to do so?

it'll be a lot more helpful to have a practical experience with him and you'll probably learn how to do it again. perhaps you should speak with him first and share with us your experience.

of course, if he is having difficulties in this area, feel free to post about it and we'll see if we can help contribute.

ok maybe standing up for Luqman wasnt a good idea and i dont want to be known in this forum as "the person who stood up for luqman and lost" lol that would be horrable but on a more serious note i dont think he knows how to overclock he has a thing against overclocking hence his older thread called "why overclock" that ended horrably lol anyway i think i have a Front Side Bus overclock is that true and if so where do you get your information i already tryed Google

was it previously at 850MHZ and overclocked to 1GHZ?

or is this the notebook? cos they do come in different clock speeds.

reason why i asked if it was a 850MHZ cos curiously luqman also posted a question to his system all so similar to yours, overclocking his 850MHZ to 1GHZ and having it crashed...coincedent?

Mind telling us what you overclocked with? Because most overclocks on a laptop is usually done thru windows because their bios doesnt really have any tweaking options.
