I don't think so. Samsung maybe... they have phones in the range of 500-1k.

ZHue... best choice u got unfortunately is only Motorola for the range...if u live in Japan.. perhaps u'd get better choices

Chai: Smartphone = pocketpc with a smaller form factor.
powered by Intel XScale and have 64mb ram!!!

i agree with Sumurai. i just want to make/receive call and send/receive SMS. along with other stuff like Alarm, Reminder and Calculator.

smartphones are basically combo of pda and phones...

using pda as phones is pretty dumb as the size is huge... so the only option is to reduce the form factor..

mind u, the smartphone has all the capabilities of a pocketpc... that would include playing divx movies (provided u have that much memory)
and of course.. playing simcity 2000 on it too??? LOL
