Help in buying a laptop

Hi..

I am planning in buying a laptop computer soon. Have been looking around for good pricings as i have already decided on a model that i very much like and works well for me.. ACER... I especially would prefer if i could buy it from a vendor who is able to give 1-3 years instalment payment. A friend of mine got her laptop from a vendor just late last year who offered this scheme where she paid an initial 10% of the actual price of the laptop and had to sign a Legal Letter which was legally endorsed too....

but too bad just when i decide to get a laptop from them.. i called and got reply saying that they no longer offer that particular scheme.

I desperately need a laptop right now ... so has anyone came across a kind-hearted computer vendor who is able to offer this method of payment?? Please let me know.. this will be of great help to me.

Well, since you've decided to purchase an Acer, all you need to do now is to just lookout for a shop or a credit card facility that would take up the 1-2 year interest free installment plan.

Well if you dun mind Dell they give 1 year free interest for Maybank and Citibank credit card I think. Price is quite resonable now....especially the Merdeka Sales is on.....

PS: Shouldn't this be in mobile device section?

Anyway, many laptop companies now offer interest-free payment schemes. You just have to ask for it.

But generally, most credit cards will only afford you 12-months interest-free payments. Rarely will you find any that will give you 18 months or even 24 months.
