btw, i find n73 photo quality not really impressive. in lower lighting condition k750i can beat n73.

If you are buying a phone for its camera capabilities, you bought the wrong phone...

but i read n73 camera is on par with k800i? but didn't expect that even the old 2MP k750i can win a 3MP Carl Zeiss lens n73 in the low light condition.

but on a bright lighted environment, the pic still turn out to be ok like this one.

here's a interesting comparision. my friend's k800i vs my n73. i dunno abt my friend skill but i think k800i can perform better than the pic taken.

You guys expect camera phone to be as good as a dedicated camera?

3MP doesn't mean it's going to be better than 2MP. Sigh, thanks to the marketting people...

FYI, even K750i's camera is better than K800i's camera. There seems to be really poor lense used on the K800i OR there is a great amount of noise reduction for the camera (meaning poor sensor used and noise reduction has to be implemented to account for it).

And you should be thankful of your N73 really. The N93 (3.2MP with 3x optical zoom) has far worse quality.

will do more testing on n73 before i give another verdict. so far the video is better than SE phones. had experienced some hangs when playing with the camera and when the there's incoming sms.

had also tested on a pdf, doc, excel files. hv some prob reading the texts but the pic on the pdf works fine. words doc also ok but not those with tables. hmm...

excel file also no problem.

will install some symbian softwares to see the performance of this hp.

The problem with these small sensors with lots of MPs is simply going to amplify the noise.
