For a 3.2MP cam, it could have been much better. Images turn out with plenty of soft-edges and look 'smudged'. The Nokia N73 (IMHO) takes better (sharper) pictures. - The xenon flash on the K800i is nothing to shout about as it is quite weak and worst part is, you cannot force the flash. You only can set to either 'Automatic' or 'Off' mode. In Automatic mode, even some normal lighting in not a brightly lit area will disable the xenon flash. Hence, you only can take pictures with the xenon flash in a dark environment. Personally, i think this method of disabling the xenon flash was purposely implemented for certain purposes. W850i - Overpriced for what it is now. The reason why the price is high is because it is new (you pay a premium for that). But if you are willing to fork out more for something new and unique, nobody can say it is not worth your money. - Camera quality is really awful. (K750i takes better pictures and we're not even counting in the fact that the K750i has Auto-focus too) N80 - The only good thing about this phone is the presence of WiFi really. Even then, using Wifi on any compact phone is quite meaningless as it will drain the battery insanely fast. Lastly, it would be good to state your needs (if you have any, that is) in a phone. If not, any of the phones above would do you good. |

wah! thanks for the description! i want something that give above average features. of course gd cam is a bonus but k800i design don't really appeal to me, i scare i may hate it as day goes by. seem like w850i not worth getting since it's less features and more expensive than k800i. talk about N73, i was considering this as well but since like n80 has an advantage of wifi, which mean i can make free call using skype over any hotspots??? any n80 users hv any negative feedbacks on this phone?

- first slider from Sony Ericsson - good bundled earphones and large memory stick (1GB)included - enhanced music player features But if you don't use the 3G functions much, i would definitely recommend the Sony Ericsson W810i over the W850i. The reasons: - the W810i has a superior camera (note: Auto-Focus), means you can have good quality close-up shots (close-up shots are very common for camera phone shots, IMHO) - price is higher on the value-for-money scale. About using Skype on the N80, if you are really a heavy user of it, then yeah, the N80 is one of the best out there for those applications, as the protocols supported by the N80 are superb.

Reputation: 185 ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 6 | just got n73 last sunday! S$468 minus my $150 voucher, i paid S$318. with free BH-300 bluetooth earpiece which i intend to sell it at $50. the Clear button is located bottom right of the keypad which i find it difficult to press for right-hander. i wonder was the designer a left-hander himself? the overall buttons are not big enough, probably im too used to 6230. ![]() |
