Just thought it would be good to share some tips or software for any Sony Ericsson phones.

Let me begin by posting 2 great software.

Here are some extra tips and tricks I found over the net.

Secret Menus / Codes
Check Firmware Version = >*<<*<*
Service menu = >*<<*<*
Lock status = <**<
IMEI number = *#06#
Access contacts on sim card = Any number then # (e.g. 9# to go to 9th entry on sim card.)
Phone status = Either volume button

Light up clock in standby mode
Press the volume button
For Walkman phones, Press the walkman button works too.

Mute a phone call without rejecting it
Press the volume button

Hidden Smileys

:- D
:-[
[:]
:- x
|-l

Shortcuts for the Photographer
1 = Opens menu with "picture size" ready to select
4 = Toggles Macro mode (for close up photos)
7 = Toggles Night mode
* = Toggles Light (this is the fastest way to use the light as a torch in the dark)
0 = While in video mode toggles length of recording from 10 seconds to unlimited.
Change brightness = < or >
Mute camera sounds: Before opening the lense cover hold # to switch to silent mode easily. (Actually just a activate silent mode before accessing the camera) Note: This does not work for phones of all regions

Shortcuts for the Media Player
Hold Volume Up: Skip up in playlist from anywhere in the phones UI, even while locked
Hold Volume Down: Skip down in the playlist from anywhere in the UI, even while locked
