Consequences of using cheap Screen Protector ?

In a rush the other day, I bought a RM20 screen protector to protect my dopod 577w screen. Later , I came across Martin Screen Protector which is around RM50 but it seems like it is much better.

And I saw one of its key feature which is 'mild adhesive'

Now im wondering, most probably my screen protector is using 'strong adhesive'

What are the consequences of using strong adhesive, will it somehow damage my screen when I remove it ?

Damn, I must definitely get a Martin after this

I think its more of if the screen protector leaves any glue residue( can be a PITA to get off.) I try to find the mild one coz its easier to readjust and get the bubbles out...

Well, there's no real difference, except what PsY mentioned.

But how do you know your cheaper screen protector is using a stronger adhesive?

Sometimes, it's just pure marketing bs.. Hehe..

I didn't use any screen protector. I was afraid of the residue and also maybe even pressure the screen. Just keep my unit in a hard case.

i use a cheap screen protector for my n73 & PSP bought from yahoo auction. both selling S$2.90 each only!!

it also came with cleaning cloth for the screen!!. so far ok.

What do you mean by 'pressure' . When I think its time to change the screen protector, can I just peel it off like no bodies' business? And how do I get rid of the adhesive residue ?

Yeah, sure, it should peel off easily.

Well, probably use a Q-tip dipped into alcohol...
