i never had portability in mind lol

but even so its not that heavy - not when i compare to a standard maths text book all of us hav to carry rofl

sorry bout the double post.

the laptop has s-video to connect to TV. what if i connect to the TV, and play a VHS - will i be able to record that to my laptop?

or is what i'm saying impossible/senseless?

S-Video is output ... what you are saying is input ... basic i/o
