buy here or buy in uk?

i wanna buy a laptop, and i can claim RM3500 in M'sia or 560 pounds(equivalent to RM3500) in UK...

is it more worth it to buy here or in uk? as in...can i get a better deal here/uk?

and feel free to suggest what laptop i should get...

if your staying in Malaysia, buy here la...

consider warranty issues and after sales service.

i'm also considering to get a laptop for my sister. i'm kinda going for dell but the hp mini looks delicious. too bad it's underpowered imo.

not sure but you might want to check if Dell has international warranty? If not for the Inspiron models, you might even consider the business-targeted models like Vostro and Latitudes. I think those do have international warranties.

Yeah, I would consider support especially since you will be in the UK for some time. Besides, you should have more choices over there.

Buy in the UK, you have more choices. Try alienware UK

It may cost u more than 560 quid, but you can always use your credit card

You should buy here, because of warranty like what other mentioned above.

However if they provide international warranty, does it matter?

That depends on the service network. If it's really good, like Dell or ASUS, then it's virtually the same as buying in UK itself.
