There are 3D drivers out there for TyTN 2. I tried it, it works partially, but I don't need it, except for maybe DirectDraw acceleration for video playback. But luckily there are workarounds.

I don't need TV Out.

Accelerometer is a PITA if you use the device when you are lying on bed, which I do almost every night, and it can't be disabled. (according to Diamond users)

5 row QWERTY is a good improvement, but from the reviews I've seen, it's not as good as TyTN 2 in terms of tactile feedback.

I'm not going to waste a few thousand more just to get a few more features that I don't really need. I can't justify.

Few thousands more? I thought it's just another RM500

That's weird because from the review I've heard, TP is better in terms of tactile feedback compared to TyTn II haha.

Well TP has a faster processor, ROM and RAM if i'm not mistaken.

Yeah, if only I haven't own TyTN2. I don't think my 1 year old phone can be sold at RM2500.

Faster processor, it better has, because of higher res display. I tried Touch Diamond today, and the phone is quite sluggish with TouchFlo 3D.

Brand new - RM2500
Second hand one with perfect condition around RM2300
second hand reasonable good - RM1700
second hand with some scratches/overseas set/warranty expire - RM1300

The price is around there

There's a CDMA version of HTC Touch Pro just released if im not mistaken, that might work well

Warranty is going to expire in 2 months. My phone is almost perfect condition, but it doesn't matter.

Yeah, a carrier here (Sprint) picked it up. My carrier is GSM (T-Mobile).
