Cowon S9 16GB or Ipod Touch 2G 8GB

Hi Folks,

I am planning for a new Media player to replace my Creative ZenVM..

narrowed down to Cowon S9 16GB and Ipod Touch 2G 8GB..Both are available at around same price point (229US$)..

Which one would be recommended ? I am more into watching videos on my device..

Edit : Chai just showed me the Cowon. Pretty impressive.

I guess if you do not "need" to own an iPod, then the Cowon S9 seems like a pretty good buy.

The Cowon S9 does look pretty impressive, it has some built in stuff the iPod doesn't like bluetooth, FM radio and I believe it supports more formats (but you'll probably end up converting anyway). On the other side, the iPod has WiFi, built in speaker and of course the App Store with some really nice games and applications.

I'd probably go with an iPod Touch (I actually already did) because there are a lot of stuff you can do with it (jailbreak it and install a GBA emulator: Pokemon ftw!
