Reputation: 142 ![]() ![]() Rep Power: 5 | A friend of mine used to have a AMD K6-2. The reason he had me work on it was b/c the computer suddenly "lost" 32MB of memory. I figured one of the memory sticks had come loose. Opened it up and the whole motherboard was grey, almost all the surface mounted chips where not visible, they were all covered completely by dust. After cleaning it the 32 MB reappeared. Other than the memory loss, it never crashed or had any other problems due to the dust. |

It was a wall unit.. and it ran fine until one day, when I switched it on, there was a loud thump! and while the compressor ran, there was no air output. When we called a repair team in, they took down the entire unit and found a dead grass snake inside.
