If you read the Radeon to FireGL Mod Guide, you should know that modding or flashing the video BIOS does not turn the Radeon into a FireGL.

You need to patch the driver and control panels...

Instead of messing with the BIOS, why not just try patching the driver??

.....The Reason is... maybe i think that is more perfect... because everything is the same just the 4e50 and 4e54, isn't it?

but yesterday i flash my bios, fail... black screen, i think the most problem is the checksum is wrong

how can i make the checksum valid...

Not really. You still need to patch the other driver files as well as the control panels.

Try reading the guide first.

IMHO, if you can't successfully soft-mod the Mobility Radeon 9600, don't bother with the BIOS hack. First, make sure you can soft-mod it.

LOL! Seriously, medking, please give the guide a good read.

We have already mentioned that you may have to try several versions to see which works. We also mentioned a driver revision that worked. You might want to try that version first.
