Exactly. Don't be surprised if the software reports much higher temperatures than your mobo is reporting.

well, i discovered one more thing..

temp is like 55~57C reported by mobo while prime95
den as usual, calculation type changes, temp instantly shot up by 2C, same effect on the core temp software..

Try using MotherBoard Monitor 5 or MBM 5 to monitor every single diode temps & rotations of the 3 pin fans of ur mobo.
