Talking FX-55 OCing

So yea, I picked up an ultra cheap FX-55 from NewEgg for $139 shipped. Upon arrival, it had a stepping of CABCE 0520MPM (which I have seen on FX-57 cores.) Seems to be a pretty good overclocking stepping/batch.
http://forums.techarp.com/attachment...1&d=1160721105

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=129632

I cranked it up on the stock multiplier up till 3GHz (231HTT x 13x).
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=129711

I lowered the multiplier and I'm now going to go high FSB. I just left it on memtest windows overnight (actually, I fell asleep LMAO.) So gonna increase it some more.

It's at 310HTT x 10x multiplier at 1.5v and it has more to give.

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=129907

I might have to increase the multiplier to 11x soon coz I don't know when I will hit the FSB limit of the board. Gonna increase it some more.

Cooling is done on my modded Corsair Nautilus 500.

Will keep you guys posted.... Gonna spend my weekend pushing this baby to the max!

I'm at the US of A...

You can't pick steppings. I just got lucky and got one.

It doesn't seem to like most of my ram timings though. Maybe a different controller?

Gotta redo ALL the ram timings... :\ BAH! more research....

Sure.

Lemme take a few.

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=130246

I'm at 3GHz @ 1.5v right now with this ram (6hour prime stable - will most prolly be my 24/7 setup.) I had it prime (4 hours) at 3.1GHz @ 1.5v but haven't tried higher. Wanna keep my ram maxed out as much as possible (for the bandwith.) But trying to push a bit more. I've had this ram stable at 260MHz 2-2-2-5 but the 3.5v kinda scares me... 3.3v right now.

Here's one for you to beat
Done on a very cold night many months ago.
Shouldn't be too hard with your RAM speeds...I wasn't using the >3.2VDIMM jumper on mine.
