Mine is watercooled, using D-Tek FuZion. It's already flat, lapping it will only make it worse

Removing Intel IHS is almost the most insane or inane thing you can do! You will most certainly kill the processor without using a torch, it's not like otrch won't kill the processor either!

LOL those XS guys poped the IHS off by sticking the processor in a cooking pot with TIM and heat it up and it survived unlike the attempt by one VR-Zone guy who uses heat gun. Crazy fellas
