at work (used to be an auto apprentice) our keyboards would be covered with dirt grease and oil.... then one day i got bored, picked up a can of engine shampoo, soaked the keyboard, and then hit it with the pressure washer.... 10 secs later its brand new, and to get rid of the water, just spray it down with brake parts cleaner, and compressed air. good as new. for about 5 mins... then get covered in grease again.....(meantime the IT guy was yelling at me, and promised to charge me for a new keyboard since it wouldn't work again.... the look on his face was priceless as i plugged it back in and started typing...)

LOL! The compressed air at the auto garages is fantastic. Really useful for getting rid of leaves and dust in the engine compartment.

ok finally got some time to do

my old chapalang keyboard is almost 7 years old!
i think i got it when i first had my real desktop

i will update soon once the keyboard is totally dry.. probably in a few days time

I think i am gonna have to try that out i have been using the same keyboard since 2000, i bet there is all kinds of crud under the keys and whatever used to be white is now an off grey color.
