Yea wolfdales aren't exactly famous for having good thermal sensors. Interesting seems like a common problem it's everywhere... Well what matters is it's stable and far away from the max temp (72c?). Might have to edit my sig, my hyper 212 got lost in delivery so I got a refund .
Cooler recommendations for E8400 overclocking which don't use push-pins please (as many as possible).

3dmark06 cpu score at stock speed is 2828marks.

uhhh almost forget to post this for you unix
temps was 56-63°C and it was working without any problem
even on vista

That's load temp taken with realtemp cooled by a zalman 9700 right?

zalman 9500 and i dont use realtemp
everest, coretemp -10°C and bios shows same temps
all the time i get difference on cpu sensor is normal but cores sensors are 10°C higher

CPU-Z Validator 2.1
well a 50% higher clock is preaty good for default voltage setup
but how the hell cpu adjust it self voltage ???

I'm not jumping to conclusion, I was just referring to the screenshot The processor was not in full load in that screenshot. I'm sure Chai was asking were there any stress test running when you took the screenshot (since the temperature is quite high). Aren't you the one who jumped to conclusions?

Show us your prime95 screenshot then, just in case anyone decides to "jump counclusions". LOL
