i'm using Logitech M905 for years, and recently it start to giving me that 1 click = double clicks problem.

it is so annoying as i'm using heavily on drag&drop on outlooks and excel.

It seems like the problem is the death of micro switch inside.

Instead of replacing it, i found a small application which able to reduce the double click issue by 90%. Just launch this app and leave it.

I upload the program at below address. Hope it does help someone here .

I took the mouse button apart and reshape the mechanical spring on the M705. Damn Omron.

Your method looks so advanced. Able to assemble back the plastic casing of the switch?

i order some of the switch from Taobao. Looks easier with do soldering.

i used tape on the back plastic casing, it was sufficient to hold the white button in place when I assemble it back.

Replaced with Omron (blue one). The original is grey switch (in second photo).
