Is thier a bios upgrade availble?

ok heres the mobo have..
L7VMM2 - ECS Elitegroup
pheanix technologies bios..
heres the addy for the mobo and the pic

running amd 2000+ ok ok 1.66mgz with 512ram
nvidea 128 vid card oc
duel 80 gig hd

yes this was a store purchased system.. emachines.. yes many people will say yuck.. but i have yet to have any probs

The bios is locked.. i would like a different version so i could get to the voltage settings.. any ideas out thier? my other option was paying 50$ for a new bios.. but im not gonna go that route. the mobo is not worth it

i notice its says duron? im running amd athlon.. is this a problem or should i go ahead and dl it..i emailed ECS website tech support.. and all i got was " your bios doesnt have this feature" ??? what does that mean? i cant flash my bios? my pc doesnt talk to and put me to sleep at night?? thier is no fire extingwisher included?

Don't worry about the CPU support. You should first find out which clock generator your motherboard uses, so you can determine which BIOS update you should download.

well im boggled.. trying to find the clock generator? i posted some screenies using wcpuid if that would help .Does that have something to do with the fsb?

Nah, I don't think you can find out the clock generator using WCPUID. You need to visually eyeball it.

Just look for the ICS 950902 or RealTek RT36519 chips on the motherboard.

You need to identify the motherboard version.

That BIOS link you gave is only for the following models / version:
- L7VMM2(PCB:1.0A)
- L7VMM2(PCB:1.1)
- L7VMM2(PCB:2.0)

but now i run the winflash utility.. and it says " Bios file size doesnt match with mainboard BIOS! " ?

should i start chewing more of my fingernails yet? lol
im not going to give up on this.. my other mobo has a 1800+ amd in it and i have it oc to 2100+ and it runs just fine
i wonder if i shoudlnt just switch out mobos
