getting S754 sempron.... need help

i'm thinking of getting a Sempron S754.

but i'm not sure which one to get

it's either the 2600+ or 2800+ (diff cache only, i think)

i don't plan to OC as in this article

but i'm hoping to push to around 220 - 240 mhz FSB.

which one would be better? does the additional cache give significant performance boost?

Significant performance boost? I don't think so, just as what is mentioned in the article

slightly faster perhaps, but not significant

however I think you should choose the one with the larger cache

yes. after some thinking. i think i'll just get a 2500+ (RM 200 ~ USD 50) and try out some OCing.
