Searching 4 AMD CPU

Anyone know where I could get AMD dual core processor in Miri? Or anywhere near...

shouldn't be that difficult. there's quite a few Miri (East Malaysia) based OCers / tech guys.

if you can't get 1st hand, maybe can get 2nd hand. or if you want, just get someone to buy for you from West Malaysia.

shouldn't be that pricey to courier it over.

Hmm.. Just came back from Low Yat Plaza. There are no A64s left and I think Max_87 just bought the last single-core Opteron (144). But they have dual-core Opterons.

You might want to order from here.

yeah, i'm in Kuching. i ordered my system from lowyat and went there to pick it up. if it's just the processor.. i think they could courier it over... not to mention the price is probably lower than in Miri.

ouhh hey, i just went there today too.

rumour has it that S939s are being recalled. don't know how true is that.

Huh.. Really? I didn't hear that. But there's definitely a shortage of A64s and Opterons over there.

well, that's why - i myself am not sure of such news cos if there was then i probably would've come by it on ARP / LYN - or any other place.

source is my friend who's friend is a technician in a computer shop. need other people to find out the validity of this information.
